Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cybersecurity systems
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive government data
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal employees and systems
- Collaborate on IT projects ensuring compliance with federal regulations and standards
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports
- Stay current with evolving federal IT policies and technological advancements
- Train end-users on new systems and security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT systems administration or cybersecurity
- Federal IT security certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms
- Knowledge of NIST standards and federal IT compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Experience with federal IT systems and documentation procedures preferred
