As part of our state-wide initiative, we are expanding our IT infrastructure team to support critical government operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to state employees across multiple departments.
- Manage and resolve complex hardware and software issues using remote tools and on-site visits.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain desktop environments, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Ensure strict compliance with state cybersecurity protocols and data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with network engineers to troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues.
- Conduct user training sessions and create technical documentation for internal staff.
- Monitor ticket queues and prioritize incidents to ensure minimal downtime for agency operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, preferably within a government or enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn) and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
- Familiarity with federal and state security standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical users.
- Ability to work in a hybrid or on-site schedule as required by agency policy.
