Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex federal IT systems and software applications.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including FISMA and cybersecurity standards.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for mission-critical infrastructure issues and provide technical mentorship to junior staff.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to optimize operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various government agencies to deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management within the government or defense sectors.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- CISSP, PMP, or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
