Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure federal network architectures and IT systems.
- Ensure full compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST security protocols.
- Perform risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and incident response for federal assets.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to modernize legacy applications and improve system performance.
- Document technical requirements and provide detailed reports for federal auditors and inspectors.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on federal IT best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal, defense, or intelligence sector IT environments.
- Must be eligible for or possess a Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), network security, and data encryption standards.
- Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and procurement processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
