Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our federal information systems. You will ensure the security and integrity of sensitive data while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technological initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of federal IT infrastructure and network systems.
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive federal data.
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions.
- Conduct system performance analysis and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, security standards, and agency policies.
- Train and mentor junior IT staff on best practices and emerging technologies.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for federal audits and reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT system administration or network engineering within the public or private sector.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or AWS Solutions Architect is highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
- Strong knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
