Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols for federal IT systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor security incidents and coordinate response actions
- Develop security policies and procedures compliant with federal standards
- Train staff on security best practices and protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency security teams
- Manage security audits and compliance reporting
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Security clearance eligibility (must obtain within 6 months)
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT security or federal IT systems
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Experience with NIST SP 800-53 framework
- Knowledge of FISMA compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
