Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive professional to analyze, design, and implement IT systems that support state agencies. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify requirements, develop technical solutions, and ensure the integrity of our data systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for state-level IT projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and database systems using modern programming languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and government officials.
- Conduct system testing, quality assurance, and performance tuning to ensure reliability.
- Document technical processes and provide user training on new systems.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal IT policies and security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software development, or a related IT role.
- Experience working within the public sector or government environment is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (if applicable).
