Responsibilities
- Manage Federal Network Infrastructure: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and security of government-owned network systems and servers.
- System Security: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive federal data from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues affecting system performance and user productivity.
- Compliance Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and audit trails to meet federal compliance standards.
- Credential Management: Support the management of user credentials and access controls for federal personnel.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with federal agencies and cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or state government IT environments.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret or Secret clearance is required for this role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, Cisco networking, and virtualization technologies (VMware).
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNA preferred.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with government stakeholders.
