Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure IT systems and networks for federal government agencies.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and implement robust cybersecurity measures.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for mission-critical applications.
- Ensure strict compliance with FISMA, NIST, and agency-specific security policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive IT modernization initiatives.
- Document system configurations, technical procedures, and incident reports.
- Train junior staff and stakeholders on security best practices and system usage.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one) required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in federal or government contracting environments.
- Certification: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of networking protocols, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
