Responsibilities
- Manage Network Infrastructure: Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of complex federal network systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement Cybersecurity Protocols: Enforce strict federal security standards and conduct vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive data.
- Provide Technical Support: Deliver expert-level support to federal staff and stakeholders, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- System Administration: Configure and maintain servers, databases, and cloud environments in compliance with OMB guidelines.
- Conduct System Audits: Perform regular reviews of IT systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Train and Mentor: Guide junior staff on best practices for federal IT operations and security awareness.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field is required.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Security Clearance is mandatory for this position.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT support or network administration.
- Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Cisco CCNA is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Server, and Linux environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with senior leadership.
