Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and maintenance for federal agency servers and networks during off-peak hours.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and implement timely patches.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols and data privacy regulations.
- Document system configurations and escalate complex issues to senior engineering teams.
- Conduct routine audits and security assessments on weekend shifts.
- Collaborate with federal clients to identify operational bottlenecks and propose technical solutions.
- Manage inventory of hardware assets and ensure proper disposal of obsolete equipment.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship is required for this position (Federal Law).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent technical experience.
- Proven experience with Windows Server, Linux, and networking infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during weekends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation.
