Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain federal network systems and servers to ensure 24/7 uptime during weekend shifts.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues affecting federal employees and systems promptly.
- Security Compliance: Enforce federal security protocols and conduct regular audits to protect sensitive data.
- Technical Support: Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to government staff.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of system changes, incidents, and resolutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or federal contracting.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IT certification is preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with government stakeholders.
