Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for state systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT solutions that align with federal and state compliance standards.
- Conduct system performance analysis and troubleshoot complex technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and optimize existing workflows.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and support staff.
- Ensure the security and integrity of sensitive government data through rigorous testing and monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT systems analysis, systems engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Experience working within a government or public sector environment is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java, with a solid understanding of database management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
