In this role, you will ensure the seamless continuity of operations for our defense infrastructure. You will be the first line of defense for technical support, ensuring our federal systems remain secure and operational during off-peak hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support and maintenance for federal systems during weekend operations.
- Monitor network security alerts, perform routine patches, and maintain system integrity.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal IT security protocols and documentation standards.
- Execute system backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data.
- Collaborate with the on-call support team during shift handovers to ensure seamless continuity.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering.
- Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular schedule.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and standard troubleshooting methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
