Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal IT infrastructure and networks during weekend shifts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and enforce strict federal security protocols and compliance standards (NIST, FedRAMP).
- Respond to and resolve critical technical alerts and incidents outside of standard business hours.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments on federal systems.
- Document system configurations and troubleshoot hardware/software issues for government clients.
- Collaborate with on-call teams to ensure seamless handover of critical infrastructure responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent military experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with federal government regulations, ITIL frameworks, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during off-hours.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting technical status to federal stakeholders.
