Responsibilities
- System Maintenance & Security: Perform essential maintenance, patching, and security updates on federal servers and workstations during the weekend shift.
- Incident Response: Monitor system alerts and troubleshoot critical hardware or software issues to minimize downtime.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, security, and privacy of sensitive federal data through rigorous validation procedures.
- Compliance Adherence: strictly follow Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) guidelines and internal compliance protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of all technical interventions, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Support Coordination: Communicate effectively with on-site teams during the transition between shifts.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal IT environments or similar government contracting roles.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Windows Server administration, and Active Directory.
- Availability: Must be available to work a rotating weekend schedule (e.g., Friday 6:00 PM to Sunday 6:00 AM).
