Responsibilities
- Manage Federal Systems: Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of federal IT infrastructure during weekend hours.
- Security Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to federal security protocols, ensuring the protection of sensitive government data.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system health, network traffic, and server performance to prevent downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues and provide critical support to federal staff and contractors with minimal supervision.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of system changes, security audits, and incident reports for federal auditing purposes.
- Backup & Recovery: Execute and verify critical data backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Clearance: U.S. Citizenship and active Secret Security Clearance required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal or government contracting environments.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in network security, Windows Server administration, and virtualization technologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with government stakeholders.
