Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect classified government data
- Provide technical support to 50+ federal employees across multiple departments
- Coordinate system upgrades and maintenance during off-peak hours
- Document IT procedures and compliance with federal regulations
- Collaborate with defense contractors on system integration projects
- Monitor network performance and optimize security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise networking
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including overnight support
