Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure for federal clients.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with government security standards (FISMA).
- Lead technical projects from conception through deployment, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and user experience.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support for complex network issues.
- Mentor junior staff and conduct regular training sessions on cybersecurity best practices.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports for government stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consulting or federal government contracting.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Strong proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
