Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal agency networks, hardware, and software systems.
- Maintain strict compliance with federal security standards, including NIST 800-171 and 800-53 protocols.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and hardware maintenance to ensure operational continuity.
- Manage and troubleshoot user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory environments.
- Document technical procedures and incident reports in compliance with federal record-keeping requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that enhance agency efficiency.
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets within established service level agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for federal employment eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one prior to start date.
- Proven experience working in a federal, government, or defense contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Cisco networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
