Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for federal agency networks and hardware systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal IT security standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., FISMA).
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, Windows Server environments, and network infrastructure.
- Document system configurations, incidents, and resolutions in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technology solutions and improve system efficiency.
- Train junior staff and provide technical guidance on complex federal systems.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a federal or government contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Familiarity with federal compliance standards such as NIST SP 800-171.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
