As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the frontline defender of our client's digital infrastructure. You will troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, manage network security protocols, and ensure mission-critical systems remain operational 24/7. Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage and resolve IT service requests and tickets within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and security.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce compliance with federal regulations and internal security policies.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and processes in the CMDB and ticketing systems.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, TCP/IP, VPN, and firewall configurations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
