Responsibilities
- Network Administration: Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance and security compliance.
- Hardware & Software Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating systems for federal staff.
- Security Compliance: Enforce federal cybersecurity protocols, manage access controls, and conduct regular system audits.
- Incident Response: Respond to technical incidents and service requests in a timely manner, documenting all resolutions in the ITSM system.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware procurement and maintenance contracts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; OR 3 years of specialized IT experience.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for Federal employment.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud-based solutions (Azure/Cloud).
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
