Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal agency hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve complex IT issues, ensuring minimal downtime for government operations.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security access in accordance with federal compliance standards.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the Service Desk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new IT policies and improve system efficiency.
- Conduct regular system audits and patch management to maintain security integrity.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration.
- Familiarity with federal ITIL frameworks and NIST security compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with senior government officials.
