Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal agency users, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with federal security protocols (NIST).
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop environments, mobile devices, and VoIP systems.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the Service Desk ticketing system.
- Conduct regular system audits and security patch management to safeguard sensitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex IT issues affecting agency operations.
- Train end-users on new software applications and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one (required).
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with federal IT standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
