Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for federal hardware and software.
- Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of workstations and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate records of IT incidents, resolutions, and user requests in the federal tracking system.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal information security policies and data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement system upgrades and security patches.
- Conduct regular system health checks and performance assessments.
- Train federal personnel on new software applications and security best practices.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or federal administration.
- Familiarity with federal IT standards, such as FISMA and NIST guidelines.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (or currently possess one).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and common network protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a part-time capacity.
