Responsibilities
- Provide tier-2 and tier-3 technical support for federal desktop environments, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols, including NIST 800-171 and FISMA compliance standards.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control within secure government networks.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations in accordance with ITIL best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and security patches during off-peak hours.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience in a federal environment).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, specifically within a government or federal contracting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and modern collaboration tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to brief senior stakeholders.
