Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for federal computer systems and networks in San Jose, CA.
- Monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for federal employees.
- Ensure strict compliance with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) standards and security protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical incidents and resolutions.
- Collaborate with the federal IT team to implement system upgrades and patches.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of federal mobile devices and workstations.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with federal IT environments and security clearance protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and troubleshooting operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including VPNs, firewalls, and LANs.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening.
