Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for federal employees in a remote setting.
- Manage and maintain secure access to government systems, ensuring strict compliance with federal IT policies and FedRAMP standards.
- Provide tier 2 technical support, including email configuration, system optimization, and software deployment.
- Document all incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new IT solutions and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine system checks to identify potential vulnerabilities and maintain system health.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship is required for federal contractor positions.
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one (e.g., Interim Secret).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Familiarity with Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS) and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
