The Role:
You will be the first point of contact for technical resolution for federal personnel on weekends. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a deep understanding of federal IT protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for federal employees, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain the Help Desk ticketing system to ensure timely resolution of all service requests.
- Perform routine maintenance on workstations, printers, and network peripherals.
- Monitor server logs and system health alerts during the weekend shift.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security compliance and data privacy regulations.
- Assist in the deployment of new federal hardware and software updates.
- Document all incidents and resolutions in accordance with federal record-keeping standards.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance or higher is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of IT support or Help Desk experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff.
