Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for federal hardware and software systems.
- Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets during weekend operations efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security regulations (FISMA) and protocols.
- Conduct regular system maintenance, patch management, and security audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex IT issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all technical support activities.
- Train junior staff on federal IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance are required.
- Associate degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security+, or GSEC.
- Proven experience working in a government or federal contracting environment.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required without exception.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
