Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to federal personnel during weekend operations.
- Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) for optimal performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal information security protocols and compliance standards.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues efficiently.
- Manage and update IT inventory and asset tracking records.
- Escalate complex incidents to Tier 3 support teams while maintaining communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support within a federal, military, or government contracting environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and network security best practices.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
