Role Overview:
We are looking for an expert troubleshooter to manage hardware, software, and network support tickets. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a tangible impact on federal infrastructure, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal employees, including troubleshooting hardware, operating systems, and network connectivity.
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of Help Desk tickets assigned during weekend shifts.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols and data privacy regulations (NIST).
- Perform system backups, patch management, and routine maintenance tasks to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with the on-site federal team to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Document all technical interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system accurately.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (or equivalent clearance).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Technical proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with government IT frameworks (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP) is a plus.
- Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
