We are seeking a highly skilled Federal IT Support Technician to join our 24/7 Network Operations Center. In this role, you will ensure the stability and security of federal networks during the night shift, acting as the first line of defense for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal network infrastructure and systems during night operations to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Enforce strict federal security protocols, compliance standards, and data protection regulations.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the ITSM system (e.g., ServiceNow) accurately and timely.
- Perform routine system updates, patch management, and security scans.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to transfer knowledge and ensure seamless handovers.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (required for this role).
- US Citizenship and eligibility for government employment (Public Trust clearance).
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) including weekends and holidays.
