Responsibilities
- Network Administration: Design, configure, and maintain secure federal network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Cybersecurity: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive government data against cyber threats.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular updates, patches, and troubleshooting for hardware and software systems.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and resolution of technical incidents and system failures.
- Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects and upgrades.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT administration or systems engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders and leadership.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar ITIL certifications preferred.
