Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and network segments.
- Implement and enforce FISMA and DoD information security policies and compliance standards.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and mobile devices for federal employees.
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and routine maintenance.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to ensure data integrity.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and incident response for critical federal systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing federal architectures.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or higher (required for this role).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in federal IT systems administration or a related technical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent technical experience).
- Strong proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops or VMware technologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and Service Desk processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with senior stakeholders.
