Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security appliances.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive government data in compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Perform system configuration, patch management, and troubleshooting for federal users.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Document system configurations, incident reports, and technical procedures according to federal guidelines.
- Provide tier-2 technical support to government personnel and contractors.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in federal, state, or local government IT environments.
- Proficient in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of federal compliance frameworks, including FISMA, DIACAP, and NIST.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
