Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for software development and system upgrades.
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise-level IT solutions using modern technologies.
- Conduct system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system reliability and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to manage contracts and ensure deliverables meet state standards.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with state security policies, data privacy regulations, and IT governance frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT analysis, systems engineering, or software development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, or other programming languages is required.
- Proven experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and virtualization platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Texas driver’s license and pass a background check.
