Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for federal government employees via remote desktop and phone.
- Manage and maintain hardware inventory, including laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols, NIST standards, and compliance requirements.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the Service Desk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Conduct user training sessions to enhance technology adoption and security awareness.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance or ability to obtain one (Secret clearance preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Systems Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and remote access tools (Citrix, GoToMyPC).
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
