Responsibilities
- Monitor federal information systems and networks during assigned night shifts to ensure continuous operation and data integrity.
- Conduct real-time security analysis, incident detection, and preliminary response to potential cyber threats.
- Document system logs, anomalies, and operational metrics in compliance with federal regulations and agency standards.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams and federal stakeholders to resolve issues and provide status updates.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and software updates outside of standard business hours.
- Adhere to strict security protocols, including access control and background check requirements.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or federal operations.
- Proven track record of successfully working night shifts or rotating schedules.
- Strong understanding of federal IT policies, NIST standards, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools, SIEM, and incident response procedures.
