Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts 24/7 during night shift operations.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems.
- Implement and maintain security measures in compliance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents in real-time.
- Generate detailed incident reports and security documentation.
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders to enhance security posture.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in federal or defense contracting environments.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and routing protocols.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
