Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and hardware health during night shift operations.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for federal agency staff via remote channels and on-site visits.
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks, including system patches, updates, and security scans.
- Log and document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the Service Desk ticketing system.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols, ITIL standards, and company compliance policies.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Active Public Trust security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
