Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems, surveillance feeds, and facility access points to ensure a safe environment.
- Conduct routine patrols and inspections of assigned areas to verify compliance with federal safety and security protocols.
- Process and secure sensitive documentation and materials according to established classification guidelines.
- Maintain accurate shift logs, incident reports, and communication records for the operations center.
- Coordinate with day-shift personnel and law enforcement agencies to resolve operational issues and emergencies.
- Perform facility maintenance checks, including lighting, climate control, and equipment functionality.
- Respond promptly to alarms, alarms, and security alerts in accordance with emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Federal security clearance.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in security operations, logistics, or facility management.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or equivalent military experience preferred.
- Clearance: Must be willing and able to pass a background investigation and obtain a Secret clearance.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work in various weather conditions during exterior patrols.
- Availability: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use radio communication equipment.
