Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure federal facilities during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of premises and grounds
- Operate security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring
- Respond to security incidents and emergency situations per protocol
- Screen visitors and vehicles at entry points
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during emergencies
- Participate in mandatory security training and drills
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for reporting systems
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
