Responsibilities
- Manage emergency communications via phone, radio, and digital systems during night shifts
- Coordinate police, fire, and medical response teams with precision and urgency
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and database records
- Utilize CAD systems to track unit locations and incident status
- Provide crisis intervention and critical information to callers
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams during multi-jurisdictional incidents
- Participate in continuous training on emergency protocols and new technologies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years in emergency services or dispatch experience
- Valid California POST Public Safety Dispatcher certification
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Exceptional multitasking and decision-making under pressure
- Proficiency in CAD systems and emergency communication platforms
- Clear speaking voice and excellent communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background investigation
