Responsibilities
- Provide primary and specialty healthcare services to federal employees and their dependents
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Manage chronic conditions and provide urgent care services
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and comply with federal regulations
- Participate in community health initiatives and preventive care programs
- Supervise nursing staff and provide clinical guidance as needed
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing and active Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in primary care or federal healthcare
- DEA certification and prescriptive authority
- Strong knowledge of federal healthcare regulations (VA, DOD, or similar)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced federal environment
