Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues affecting federal staff.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot government-issued computing equipment and peripherals.
- Manage IT helpdesk tickets and maintain accurate service logs compliant with federal regulations.
- Ensure strict adherence to information security protocols and FISMA compliance standards.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform preventive maintenance on IT assets.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement security patches and system updates.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or willingness to undergo a full background investigation.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional IT support experience in a government or corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Federal messaging systems (O365/Outlook).
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a hybrid on-site role.
