Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Manage and maintain server hardware and software configurations to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive federal data.
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders to identify technical requirements and propose solutions.
- Document system configurations, update technical knowledge bases, and create training materials.
- Conduct regular system audits and security compliance checks.
- Assist in the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-based architectures.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT support, network administration, or systems engineering.
- Active Federal Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and federal compliance standards (FISMA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a part-time capacity.
