Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily administration of federal pension plans, including contributions, disbursements, and status updates.
- Process payroll and benefits requests with a focus on accuracy and timely Daily Pay execution.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal and state laws regarding retirement benefits and pension plans.
- Collaborate with the HR team in Memphis and Virginia to resolve complex employee benefit inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of employee pension eligibility and vesting schedules.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reports on pension fund performance and liabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in pension administration, payroll, or government finance.
- Strong understanding of federal retirement systems (e.g., FERS, CSRS) and benefits management.
- Must be willing to work in Memphis, TN, or from a home office in Virginia.
- Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Oracle, or similar government systems).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and security clearance screening.
