Responsibilities
- Administer complex federal pension plans with 100% accuracy and compliance
- Process retirement applications and benefit calculations within SLA
- Conduct eligibility reviews and financial counseling for federal employees
- Collaborate with HR departments on pension policy implementation
- Maintain secure databases and generate analytical reports
- Respond to inquiries from beneficiaries and stakeholders
- Stay updated on federal pension regulations and TSP changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years pension plan administration experience
- Federal benefits certification (e.g., CBP, CEBS) preferred
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., NSPS, EIS)
- Expert knowledge of TSP, FERS, and CSRS regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle confidential data with integrity
- Active federal security clearance or ability to obtain
